Philly’s biggest storytelling showdown returns! Winners of FPA’s 15th Season of StorySlams go head-to-head for the title of “Best Storyteller in Philadelphia”, free FPA Slam admission for life, and a $250 cash prize. Contestants try to win over celebrity judges with their most outrageous, gutsy, and heartfelt personal tales. Hosted by comedian, five-time Moth StorySLAM winner, and author of Long Story Short, the Only Storytelling Guide You’ll ever Need, Margot Leitman.

Featuring: Steve Clark, Otis Gray, Irv Gross, Dave Hillis, Emma Hitchcock, Chris Lundy, Anthony Scutti, Kelsey Stewart, Cecilia Watson, Rosetta Williams, and Marjorie Winther.

Margot Leitman
Margot Leitman
Margot Leitman is a storyteller, comedian, and writer originally from Matawan, New Jersey. She is the author of Long Story Short, the Only Storytelling Guide You'll Ever Need from Sasquatch Books, and the comedic memoir Gawky: Tales of an Extra Long Awkward Phase from Seal Press/Perseus Books. For television, she has written for NBC, the Hallmark Channel, and the PixL network. In print, her writing has appeared in Playgirl Magazine and New York Press, and on websites such as the Frisky, CollegeHumor, and http://ticketing.artsphilly.org/tickets/www.mylifetime.com. Margot is a five-time Moth StorySLAM winner and was the Moth GrandSLAM champion in New York City in 2011. She travels all over the world performing her true stories and teaching others to tell their own.
