Who We (Strummerville) Are
Set up by the friends and family of Joe Strummer in the year after his death, we seek to reflect Joe’s unique contribution to the music world by offering support, resources and performance opportunities to artists who would not normally have access to them. We are based in west London and we’re a UK registered charity & totally independent non-political music charity.

What We (Strummerville) Do
We reach out to music projects around the globe, such as WAYout Project in Sierra Leone. We also work with bands and musicians here in the UK to help get their music recorded and we provide a platform for them to showcase their music. We also put on the odd gig or two in London.

In Action
Recent projects have been to install a recording studio and provide instruments and training to WAYout project in Sierra Leone, set up a music room in Tilinanu, Malawi as well as rehearsal rooms in Belfast, London with more planned.
The Fakirs
Gretchen, Jerad, Danny and Mike play songs about Hindu Gods, reincarnation, pirate utopias, and beyond.
Disaster Committee
Disaster Committee
Disaster Committee is a punk rock band from Newark, Delaware formed in 2012. The band started as a three piece, consisting of Pat Higgins on vocals and bass, Lee Tarczynski on vocals and guitar and Chris Fanny on drums. In September 2012, BJ Clements joined the band as a second guitarist.

Their sound is a combination of their common influences of punk and hardcore, along with each member's eclectic taste in other genres of music.

In June of 2012, Disaster Committee released a self titled, four song EP. In the fall of 2013 they self released their first full length record, “Shipwrecked” via a successful Kickstarter campaign. The band has recently been labeled one of “10 Delaware Bands You Should Listen To Now” by Paste Magazine.

Chris Fanny also plays drums in Philadelphia based garage rock band, The Scovilles, and Pat also plays bass in Feral Ponies and Raised by Ghosts.
The Future Unwritten
The Future Unwritten
The Future Unwritten, from Philadelphia, PA/Wilmington, DE are a three piece country rock group which recalls the power and songwriting prowess of groups like Uncle Tupelo, The Drive-By Truckers, and Neil Young and Crazy Horse. Inspired rhythms, layered and held together with big guitar sounds the band shares songwriting and vocal responsibilities, which creates a unique, soulful Alt-Country rock sound.

Forming in the summer of 2009, The Future Unwritten was received with praise after playing shows in and around Philadelphia. Shortly after recording their first demo “We Have Our Moments”, the band recorded their EP “Extended Play” with the help of Milkboy Studios in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. “Extended Play” was voted “Best Rock EP of the Year” by radio station 93.7 WSTW.

In May 2013, The Future Unwritten released their debut LP "Put Out This Fire" on Relay Records. The record was produced by Steve LaFashia of Jealousy Curve and Mastered by Glenn Schick (Drive-By Truckers, Widespread Panic, Matthew Sweet).
With two well-received albums and airplay on several major radio stations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, The Future Unwritten are declaring themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Playing in venues throughout the East Coast, they continue to gather more adoring fans and shape themselves into a powerful country influenced Rock band. They are currently in the studio working on their second full length album.
The Headies
The Headies
The Headies are no-nonsense punk rock straight outta Delaware. Since 2007, they have toured throughout the East Coast and Mid-West, leaving droves of psyched, somewhat confused punk fans in their wake. Their sets are generally short even by punk rock standards, but the band are laser focused on delivering quality over quantity and leaving every crowd wanting just a little bit more. They play 8-13 songs ranging in length from 30 seconds to (gasp) 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Their songs range from fun and silly to contemplative and borderline angry, grasping at straws to come to terms with the swirling brutal universe.

Each Headies record comes with a renewed approach to punk rock and staying alive, and each delivers a unique sonic perspective from the songwriting trio of Danny Robinson (lead guitar, lead vocals) Todd Purse (drums) and Billy Frolic (guitar & vocals). These three goofballs jump and bang around on stage, working out their nervous anxious energy, while stalwart MC Ben holds things together on the bass. Their most recent LP Meta-Pop is a punchy, raucous anthem from start to finish, exploring and lamenting all of musics’ favorite themes: extended adolescent frustration, masturbation, murder, accidental homicide, Gossip Girl & Saved by the Bell.

Their most recent EP (Every Little Thing Breaks My) PUNK ROCK HEART released March 2015 on Bloated Kat Records, is the romantic conscience of MetaPop, tackling the overwhelming struggle between the excitement of blossoming love contrasted against the fear of losing everything. The Headies are in the studio recording a new full length Growing Up in the Universe, and they are beyond excited to have just released a split 7” with their mentors and brethren Plow United, on Self Aware Records.

The Headies play shows consistently throughout the Delaware Valley area, and are planning upcoming winter tour dates as well. Every Headies show promises unbridled energy, tight musicianship (for the most part), sick songs and a genuine sharing of love of music and life with their audience. Check them out! But get to the show on time or you might miss the set.

The Keefs
The Keefs
THE KEEFS are the perfect blend of old-school punk and rootsy rock & roll with the melody and hooks of power pop and hints of glam rock sheen.

Slightly gritty vocals, contrasted with melodic guitar lines, define their sound.
Tin Can Ramblers
A fresh take on good old fashioned rockabilly.

George M Murphy, "2-N" Kenn Koubek, Will Donnelly and a revolving band of scoundrels.
The Lift Up
The Lift Up
The Lift Up will release their debut album, Without Dreams, We Are Only Sleeping this fall. The record was co-produced by the band and Grammy-nominated producer, Jim Salamone at Cambridge Sound Studios in Newtown, PA. The nine songs on Without Dreams… alternate between aggressive, modern rock garage stompers and quiet moments of equally intense sonic reflection, all the while remaining short and to the point. Lyrically, the songs deal with the pressures of adult life, of trying to survive under the constant weight of one’s past. The Lift Up consists of bassist Larry Zappaterrini, drummer John Paul Travis and singer/songwriter/guitarist Joe Castro.
