It’s no wonder Kayleigh Goldsworthy’s latest release it titled “All These Miles.” The Syracuse, NY native has traveled from her home upstate to New York City, Southern California, and Nashville before finally planting roots in Philadelphia, and her sound and songwriting are as vivid and poignant as if you were sitting shotgun next to her while she drives to wherever she’s going.

A founding member of Syracuse 6 piece The Scarlet Ending, the band regularly played for deployed troops on USO tours, and shortly after their demise found herself alongside Chuck Ragan at his Revival Tour, embarking on a solo career that had her sharing the stage with Against Me, The Menzingers, The Front Bottoms, and many others. Her 2013 debut solo effort, “Burrower,” garnered great praise, and she joined up with Harvest’s pop outfit Young and Sick while they toured alongside Foster the People and Chance the Rapper, making festival rounds at Coachella, Austin City Limits, and others.

In 2016 she moved to Nashville, TN to focus on songwriting and session playing, and not long after she received a call from Dave Hause and began touring as a member of The Mermaid. During this time she began honing her craft once again, and finally got back into the studio with Saves the Day’s Arun Bali to record.

“All These Miles,” released independently on November 20, 2018, tells the story of where she’s been not only lyrically, but sonically. Not quite folk, not quite rock, but all pop - wrapped around the songwriting and thoughtfulness we’d expect from someone who’s lived it all.

Goldsworthy is currently on tour supporting and playing auxiliary for Bayside on their full US acoustic tour, which concludes February 3rd in Nashville, TN.
