Award-winning Philadelphia native Christine Havrilla has brought her “well-built, catchy, smart tunes” (Upstage Magazine) to audiences all over the country during the past 20+ years of her music career including stops at The Bitter End, Tin Angel, Bluebird Café, SXSW/GoGirls, Passim, CB’s Gallery, Rockwood Music Hall, The Living Room, The Kimmel Center, Sellersville Theatre, Alberta Rose Theatre, Hotel Utah, Musikfest, World Café Live & The Point, to name a few. Her travels over the years have also led her to share the stage with an eclectic list of amazing artists like Janis Ian, Brandi Carlile, Jill Sobule, America, Antigone Rising, Susan Werner, Davey Knowles, Karla Bonoff, Jeffrey Gaines, Melissa Ferrick, Willy Porter, Catie Curtis, Christopher Cross, Kyler England, Edie From Ohio, etc…
“Some Other Thing” was recorded by Guy Lutz at SONIC Studios in Philadelphia & released in the fall of 1998. Fans know songs like “Daffodil”, “Set Me Free”, “Price of Love” & “Let Me” from this project that included Michael Beeson, Tim Schumacher, Tom Donovan, Jackie Baxter, Ellen Lerner, & Barb Adams. The 20th Anniversary Show at WCL will include Tim & Jackie, mixed in with Bill Gallagher, Becca Doughty, & Gretchen Schultz for an All-Star evening of talent bringing “Some Other Thing” back to life in it’s entirety.
