Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. The name, taken from a Richard Brautigan novel, seems almost as incongruous as a picture of this musical duo: Ezra Idlet (guitar) stands six feet eight inches and Keith Grimwood (bass), five feet five and one half inches. Ezra is more playful and extroverted while Keith is more serious and reserved. Each of them bring out the best in the other and the joy that comes from this musical interaction is contagious and impossible to deny.
Lard Dog & The Band of Shy
Lard Dog & The Band of Shy burst onto the New York entertainment scene in 2015 with an off-Broadway theatre run called, "Life's A Real Dream". With their quirky lyrics and infectious tunes the band has drawn comparisons to Devo, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Pee Wee Herman, and the B52's. Lard Dog and his 6-piece Band of Shy invite you to their unique audio-visual universe, complete with catchy songs, multi-media graphics, and interactive props—including a pretzel toss. Come play along and slurp the noodle of life—for Life’s A Real Dream!
Billy Kelly has been entertaining people of all ages with his quirky, funny music since the late 20th century, AD. Over the course of his 20 year music career Billy Kelly has opened for President Barack Obama, duetted with Davy Jones of The Monkees, and been nominated for a Grammy Award — in that order. Although comedy has always been part of Billy’s act, My First Comedy Album represents the culmination of several years of focused comedy writing and several hundred stand-up performances. With the release of this album, Billy hopes to bring laffs to nice people everywhere.
