The Stooges Brass Band
Widely considered one of New Orleans’ elite brass bands, The Stooges Brass Band has delighted audiences around the world with their unique blend of authentic New Orleans brass, contemporary jazz, and hip-hop beats. Over the course of a twenty-year career, the Stooges have shared the stage with greats including Jessica Simpson, Galactic, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Trombone Shorty, Shemekia Copeland, Pedrito Martinez Group, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Ozomatli, Black Star (Mos Def & Talib Kweli), Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, and The Funky Meters, among others.

The Stooges Brass Band’s notorious party-like concerts have earned the band considerable recognition, including a “Best Contemporary Brass Band” at the 2011 Big Easy Music Awards. They also won “Best Brass Band” in the Red Bull-sponsored Street Kings contest, earning the band a recording session at Red Bull Studios in California. Their sound can be heard in several episodes of the original HBO drama Tremé.

The Stooges continue to tour internationally, performing at famous American venues and festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo, South by Southwest, the Utah Arts Festival, Discover Jazz, the American Folk Festival, the High Sierra Music Festival, the Great American Brass Band Festival, and renowned international festivals including the Edinburgh Jazz Festival, the Durham Brass Festival, the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique, and the Tremblant Blues Festival. The Crooked Vines
The Crooked Vines
Based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, The Crooked Vines is a funk-pop collective that brings exciting funk-fueled jams to the stage. Their heavy-hitting energy sustains and tastefully dips into spacey pleasure throughout their shows bringing a new sound to life. Mikayla Braun's sensitive yet compelling voice leads the ensemble, backed by Rex Marshall on bass and Woody Hill on drums. This duo holds down the gritty rhythm section grooves where Steven Schwartz perfectly places his sweetly distorted keyboards, creating the perfect pocket for the hard-hitting horn lines provided by Phil Arpa on saxophone and James Keene on trombone. The group released their first studio effort on October 10th, 2015, self-titled The Crooked Vines, and their second album "Alive" on November 10th, 2017. Both are available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, BandCamp, and most other major platforms. You can find the group in New Orleans at venues such as Tipitina's, The Howlin' Wolf, House of Blues, and Gasa Gasa.
They have opened for The Grammy Award winning Rebirth Brass Band, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Mystikal, George Porter Jr., Naughty Professor, Cyril Neville, John "Papa" Gros of Papa Grows Funk and more!
