Wyland are a four-piece alternative rock band based in a small town outside of the Meadowlands. Their sound, which has elements of atmospheric rock and indie singer-songwriter influence, has received praise for being “Coldplay-esque” and “intense and tasteful melodic rock [that] will resonate with the most endearing Lumineer fan.” CMJ said, “Wyland has an instantly digestible sound".

In 2015, the band released a couple demos which eventually led them to appear alongside bands like Mumford & Sons, Alabama Shakes, and the Vaccines, to name a few. Their latest EP, In a Sea of Things Unsaid, which was released at the beginning of 2016, was received as “one of the strongest releases from a New Jersey band in 2016” by NJ.com. The album was also praised as one of the best of 2016 by publications like Clash Magazine and NKD Magazine.

“Without You,” the first single from In a Sea of Things Unsaid went viral in the first month of its release with over 150k streams on Spotify. The song was also chosen as the grand prize winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, for which the band received over 8k dollars in prizes and an opportunity to record a song live on the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus.

Wyland is Ryan Sloan (vocals/guitar/piano), Mauricio Salazar (guitar), Zach Calidonna (bass) and Chris Luna (drums).
The Binary Sea
The Binary Sea is the brainchild of Philadephia artist Christian A. Guerrero. Guerrero, veteran of numerous bands, he cut his teeth in the NJ punk scene and rose to noteriety as the original singer of BEDlight for BlueEYES. Their album, The Dawn, has sold over 100k units.

Emotionally and Spiritually drained by the loss of his mother and grandmother to cancer, enduring a brutal divorce, all within the same small timeframe, Guerrero relocated to Philadelphia and began to pen his experiences in an effort to exorcise the shadows that loomed over him. Inspired by the human connection he slowly rediscovered living in the heart of Philadephia, and frustrated by the isolation of living exclusively through social media, he sought to combine aspects of the digital and the organic, influenced by the legends of Motown Soul, the layered affected textures of shoegaze and electro, and the heartfelt sincerity of folk... Guerrero nimbly navigates these many influences into an enormously rich and powerful sound that will send you straight to the dance floor or pining for the one you love. The sound is massive, but the words bleed true. Nothing was held back, and we're all the better for it, bathing in the soundscapes and explosive hooks of their forthcoming release "WARRIOR CODE".
With Greg Adams supplying vocals and rhythm guitar, Derrick Dieso on lead guitar, Austin Paragas fielding bass and backing vocals, and Henri Tyler behind the drums, these four West Philly musicians come together to create TIOGA, their unique brand of indie rock, flavored with refreshing rhythms and memorable melodies. Drawing influence from artists such as The 1975, The Killers, Two Door Cinema Club, among others, TIOGA has been likened to “early 2000’s new wave revival acts,” while also drawing from The War on Drugs, The National, and Interpol.

The name “Tioga,” used to describe a place between two points, a middle ground, or a gateway, originates from Native American tribes whose range encompassed what is now the Philadelphia area.

In the case of TIOGA (the band), the name seemed to fit their vision: Philadelphia, PA serves as the middle point for what each of the members has brought to the table. Coming from different towns, musical backgrounds, and lifestyles, these four musicians have found their common ground in TIOGA.
