When it comes to the art of music, Singer/Songwriter and Actress Tracey Preston discovered her life-long love for it at a very young age. As a Philadelphia native, music was deeply intertwined into the fabric of her values and upbringing, whether through the influence of family, singing in her church choir or starring in her first school play at the impressionable age of six-years-old.

At the start of her career, a graduate of the critically acclaimed Freedom Theatre, Tracey went on to join D. Wiggins Productions where she was a member of the fine arts company from 2009-2014. There, she had the privilege of performing in such places as the Adrienne Theater in Philadelphia, acting and singing in several plays, taking lead rolls in two of the companies productions “Joi to the World”, and “Static”. She then went on to headline a number of packed-out shows as a solo artist, at some of Philadelphia’s premier dining and nightlife venues including Warmdaddy’s, Relish, World Café Live, and many others.

The past few years have been exciting and extremely promising for the seasoned performer. In 2015 Tracey earned her spot on tours with accomplished vocalists such as R&B Artist Vivian Green and Gospel Recording Artist Jessica Reedy. Her diverse musical resume also includes background vocals for Tedd Winn and Sunday’s Best winner Joshua Rodgers. Her rousing and penetrating vocals have been lauded by some of music’s most influential voices of our time, such as Kim Burrell, Donald Lawrence, Jazmine Sullivan, Donnie McClurkin and Dr. Bobby Jones to name a few.

With all that she has accomplished thus far, there is no sign of slowing down for Tracey Preston! The release of her first single, which she wrote arranged and vocally produced, “Soarin’ ” produced by Bruce Robinson Jr., has ushered in a brand new chapter as Tracey solidifies herself as a solo artist in her own right. With her new single, Tracey has begun the exhilarating process of recording a complete solo album, which she anticipates will be complete very soon!!
