Philly Music and Arts Fest
TWO NIGHTS. TWO STAGES. ONLY PHILLY BANDS.

The Philadelphia music scene is eclectic and blossoming, yet under-appreciated. The Philadelphia craft beer scene is burgeoning, yet deserving of more credit. The Philadelphia food scene is notorious, but behind in terms of national attention. It is time for Philadelphians to SUPPORT YOUR SCENE. The music will bring our community together, but the objective is – whatever your passion may be - SUPPORT YOUR SCENE..

Our mission is to encourage the citizens of Philadelphia to SUPPORT YOUR SCENE. The Festival consists of local bands performing on each of September 22 and 23, on two stages. The Festival is both a testament and celebration of the exploding music scene in Philadelphia and a showcase of up and coming artists.

In addition to music, the Festival will highlight the food, beer and arts of Philadelphia. Food trucks and local chefs will provide edibles, while all beer taps will be pouring only local craft beer. Local distilleries will handle cocktails. Local artists will display visual arts. The experience is an immersion in Philadelphia culture.

Most importantly, The Philadelphia Music & Arts Festival is a non-profit endeavor. Proceeds from the Festival will be donated to local music education charities, including Live Connections, and other local non-profit organizations. The business objective of the Festival is completely aligned with the social purpose of the Festival – SUPPORT YOUR SCENE..

Local Smokes
Local Smokes are a Psychedelic Swamp Rock band from Philadelphia, PA. This band was forged on the banks of the Schuylkill River -- soaked in reverb bent guitars, groovy bass lines and a boom-bap back beat. The vocals sound like chewed glass , washed down with Tequila. Someday, they will set sail down the muck of that river and bend every ear of the world!
